Vendor Information

This year the boat launch into Clear Lake will be closed, so we can use the parking adjacent to the boat launch for our food vendors. This will make it much easier for set-up as you will not be competing with the car entries.

We anticipate that there will be hungry participants there at least by 8 if not earlier. I would advise being set-up by 8am. Unfortunately this set-up is not adjacent to power so I strongly recommend a generator or similar power source.

There is vendor and participant parking in the parking lot adjacent to the show as well as in the “Work Right” building parking lot.

Remember that we are using a ticketing system this year so tickets will be sold by Operation Tango Mike and reimbursed to vendors at 75¢ each. Buyers are paying $1 which means all sales include a 25¢ donation to Operation Tango Mike automatically. This also means you won’t have to handle cash at the show.

Check In and Set Up

To our vendors: there will be a lot of activity early in the morning with the cars coming in and you all setting up. While our show officially starts at 8am the earlier you get there, the better. Please plan to be set-up and off the street by 8am. There will be close-by parking as indicated on the map below specifically for vendors and volunteers.

We bet you have questions - here are some answers:

  • How much is a booth?
There is no specific charge for a booth but all transactions will be tickets sold through Operation Tango Mike. Tickets will be sold for $1 each and redeemed at 75¢ so price accordingly.
Lastly, you will need a $1million liability policy.

  • How do I get a Booth?
Contact us with the name and description of your booth. We’ll get back to you shortly and get more details. Booth space is very limited due to spacing requirements for Covid safety.

  • What Kind of Booths are Accepted.
Our goal is to support our own community first, so we're looking for locally-crafted or sourced products, especially cool and unusual stuff. If you have stuff made in China or belong to a multi-level marketing plan, maybe we'll see you at another show but not this one. If you're a local artisan or have things made in Lake County, we hope you contact us about booth space.

  • Who Decides If We Can Have A Booth
Tony, the promoter of the show, will make the final decision. Oh, and there is limited space so if you think you're going to make the cut, apply early.

  • Can I Sell Food?
Absolutely! We love to eat and are looking for a few local places to set-up food booths. Also, if you've got something cool or unusual we want that, too, even if you're from far away. We'll work with you to get a permit from our local county health department.  However we'd prefer food vendors that don't compete with the restaurants on Main Street in Lakeport. Again, this is a show about supporting Lake County.
Also, look at the times. If you have a great breakfast idea and then something for lunch that can be carried around, this might be a great choice for maximum success.

  • Anything Else I Should Know?
Yeah. Our insurance company wants everybody to have a $1,000,000 liability policy. Remember we're in sue-happy California.
Also, the City of Lakeport requires a business license for all who are selling. These are just $10 if you're doing a one-day license and you can find out more on the City of Lakeport Business License website.

If you dont stand behind our troops stand in front of them!
