The Johnson County Parks and Recreation Special Olympics Program is once again providing our “11th Annual Cars in the Park, car show fundraiser.” 

• This event will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at Shawnee Mission Park Marina, 7900 Renner Road, Lenexa, KS 66219 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  

• This is a free event for all spectators and money is raised by asking for a small entry fee for those who enter any make/model of car, truck, or motorcycle.

At this time, our fundraising committee members are asking for:

• Event Sponsors and/or provide a donation(s) for raffle prizes to be given throughout the day.

• We are asking your organization to become a sponsor or donate any merchandise or gift certificates that we could use for this purpose. 

• We have several sponsorship opportunities for this event that allow exposure for local businesses. If interested please see the attached sponsorship document.

The 11th Annual Cars in the Park fundraiser allows over 380+ Special Olympics athletes an opportunity to compete in local, regional, state and national competitions. Money raised from this event will provide scholarships to our athletes helping to reduce the registration fees and tournament costs.
