Cruisin' Grand in Escondido happens every Friday night along Grand in Escondido, CA. The show features blocks and blocks of cars of all sorts, including side streets with the week's featured marques.
Cruisin' Grand is held every Friday through September from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The official Cruisin' Grand cruise loop runs down Grand Avenue, back up Second Avenue. Join over 400 pre-1974 American-made hot rods, custom, vintage, classic cars and trucks as they begin the six-month Friday night cruise down Grand in Historic Downtown Escondido, just off old historic Hwy 395.
See one of the best gatherings of classic cars in the country, from works-in-progress to priceless, museum-quality vehicles. There is no pre-registration required for classic car owners. Just bring your event-era vehicle, park on Grand Avenue. If your car is selected, the judges will contact you (at your vehicle) between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. At 8:00 p.m., event-era cars selected for awards are directed to North Broadway for an awards presentation of seven of the most sought-after classic car awards in California.
There are plenty of nifty shops and restaurants along the streets as well as some terrific cars.
